Are you and your loved ones prepared for a major emergency or disaster?

In a major disaster the Fire and Police Departments may be delayed in their response, it may take up to 72 hours for medical care response depending on the severity of the event or events.

Is your family ready to handle any situation that you may face like: a gas leak, small fire, major injury, structure collapse?. These are some of the incidents you may experience in a disaster.

What if someone on your block was trained to help bring families and neighbors together in an emergency?  Maybe you want to be that person…

JUST IN CASE BH brings residents together!

JUST IN CASE BH helps to facilitate a neighborhood of trained   CERT's*, facilitates access to local doctors, basic medical supplies, and central meeting locations. The program will also supply block captains with a way to communicate during power and internet outages.

*The CERT program educates volunteers about emergency and disaster preparedness for different hazards that may occur and impact their area and trains them in basic emergency and disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, disaster psychology, medical operations & terrorism.

We need you to join this network of residents throughout our city who can support each other until Fire and Police Departments are able to respond.

Get involved, sign up, JUST IN CASE BH
